Our client is a global energy group operating in over 100 countries worldwide. One of their business critical programs requires the support of a communications manager to provide communication to the wider Australia and New Zealand business and project stakeholders. Reporting to the Program Manager the role has responsibility for finalising and implementing the communication strategy, the development and implementation of communication plans and drafting and developing targeted communication content to a range of audiences using multiple communication channels. As part of the overall program the role supports 2 key projects and will work closely with the project managers to ensure consistency of message and communication linkage. You will have a degree in communications or marketing with 5 years experience in internal or project communication roles; experience supporting an IT project will be well regarded. Ideally your skills have been developed in a large corporate and you will possess sound knowledge and understanding of the communication principles and techniques. Commercial awareness, strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential as is your ability to influence stakeholders and project manage. Proven success in the delivery of internal communications within a large organisation together with an ability to work independently and autonomously are essential.
